Hi All,

Saw the penguin and seal at about 12ish today. It was in the same
spot but no longer in a hole, being out and about more towards the
west than reported to me. We didn't approach too close but judging
by the Little Penguins I've seen I would say it has pretty much
finished or is VERY close to it, wouldn't be suprised if it went
tonight.

If you are planning a trip I'd suggest going tomorrow morn. The
enormous lump of lard that is an elephant seal was still on the
beach, as were the Sanderlings, Turnstones and Pied
Oystercatchers and what looked like a white-fronted Tern. Only had
very brief and very distant views of the latter so I am not certain.

Happy birding,

Paul McDonald
