I received an unconfirmed report today from Adrian Boyle of the Broome Bird
Observatory that two birders had reported a Black-tailed Gull at the
Geraldton sewage works in the mid-west of Western Australia. This could be
a good year for gulls and rarities after the Franklin's Gull that was
reported just over a week ago at Oyster Reef at Kalbarri about an hour north
of Geraldton.
