Hi All,

Saw my first Spotted Harrier for the season at the Western
Treatment Plant, Werribee Victoria yesterday. It was a juvenile
quartering the paddocks west of the western boundary road, south
of the Beach Rd intersection. Suprisingly it was tolerated by a pair
of black-shouldered kites with juveniles, unusual for such a stroppy
species.

Still awaiting a letter-wing kite!
Happy Birding
Paul
