I wonder if anyone would be good enough to point us in the right direction(s) and help maximise birding enjoyment during our first visit to S. E. Australia?
We will be spending 8 weeks (mid January to mid March) travelling by car between Adelaide and Brisbane with side trips to Tasmania and the Cairns area by air. We are intermediate birders, with other interests too, and like to plan our travels around good - preferably scenic - birding sites.
So far we've identified Bruny Island, Kangaroo Island and Lamington N.P. as "must-see". Any help gratefully received!
