Last Saturday while visiting the northern shore of Lake Alexandrina (20km south of Murray Bridge in SA) I saw a flock of about 160 Cape Barren Geese feeding on irrigated pasture.

After observing them for a few minutes they all flew off further north as an ultra light plane flew over the area.

Coordinates for interested people are as follows 35 19 16 S  139 13 53 E on the road from Langhorne Creek to Wellington and about 14 km west from Wellington SA.
