Reminds me of the time I was walking across the low heathland on the Pinnacles ridge near Lockley Pylon, and a Wedge-tailed Eagle was following me, flying so low that I could see its eye studying me. It was rather unnerving and at the time I couldn't help wondering whether the Wedge-tail had ever been known to attack people!

Regarding flocking Satin Bowerbirds, in the Blue Mountains they often form large autumn-winter flocks around the towns, attracted by the proliferation of fruit-bearing weeds such as privet, and also congregating around some bird-feeders in gardens.

Cheers,
Carol
