To Anne and others, 
I have just realised in the semi-early evening that I have made an 
error, and apologise, hopefully before a flood of rebuttals. 
The point I was poorly trying to make was that most recently 
fledged Little Ravens I have seen have brown eyes, but I have seen 
a couple with blue-tinted eyes like the bird in question. But adults 
have white eyes with a prominent iridescent blue around the dark 
pupil. I have found that the blue is less noticeable than the white. 
The field guides I have both say white eyes, hence the rather too 
strongly worded wrong bit. 
Anyway, Anne, I apologise for misleading you, seems I was, and 
probably still am, confused!
