birding-aus RFI:Cyanoramphus malherbi

Thanks to Phil Gregory and Phil Hansbro for responses to my RFI re Kiwis.

Here's another request.  Collar in Handbook of the Birds of the World
4,p.372 has split Cyanoramphus malherbi, Malherbe's Parakeet, aka
Orange-fronted Parakeet.  The distribution map shows scattered localities
in the north of the South Island, and its status is listed as Critically
Endangered, with a population of probably less than 250 birds.  Can anyone
give me more precise locations where the parrot might be found?
