G'day all.
A very productive afternoon 5hrs of atlassing today at Penrice Saltfields,
20km north of Adelaide, centred on and within 5km of 34 42 30s, 138 30 00e.
A beautiful clear day, light breeze. Abundance figures are estimates where
quantities were large. Missed the high tides at 9.39 and 20.41

A few surprise overwintering ABSENTEES were Sharp-tailed S/piper, Wood
S/piper, Greenshank, Ruddy Turnstone, of which there are often a few at
this time, and the one Whimbrel, which is usually with the Eastern Curlews,
didn't show. Otherwise not a bad haul of 70 species. Can't wait till
October when the the waders return. Anyone for a visit Oct - March?
