At least 1 Freckled Duck was present at Jerrabomberra Sewage Works
yesterday afternoon at 17:00.

It was disturbed from the reed mace which borders one of the lagoons and
plopped into the water. From sound I thought it might be a
Hydromys........ No! a Freckled Duck.

I use the phrase at least because other Freckled Ducks may be present given
the skulking behaviour that I observed.

Highlight: 2 Drake Bluebill, brilliantly lit in late afternoon sunshine.
Lowlight: A Greenfinch singing (if you care to call it that).

cheers
Milburn
