The NSW Bird Report for 1996 has just been published for the NSWFOC. It
has come out as part of the Journal "Australian Birds", Vol31 No4 April
1999. Information on 374 species is contained in the report which
includes contributions from 272 observers and 100+ sources such as
newsletters and journals.Copies are available from NSWFOC P.O. Box Q277,
QVB Post Shop, Sydney NSW 1230. Penny Drake-Brockman is the Secretary.
Contributions are sought for the 1997 Report, due for publication later
this year. Any information on rare or unusual birds, or unusual
distribution or numbers (together with observers name, date, location &
lat long if avaialble) is of value. The information can be Emailed to
this address.
Incidentally does anyone know whether Neville Schraeder of Parkes is a
subscriber to Birding-aus, and if so, may I have his Email address
please.
