Hi Reg and birders all,
Reg and others around NSW have indicated that the Yellow-faced
Honeyeater migration did not appear to be very strong this year. I would
like to say that on the weekend of the 23/24th May during the search for
the Regent Honeyeater and Swift Parrot count, the Yellow-faced
Honeyeaters were abundant in the Swamp Mahogany groves and adjacent
areas on the Central Coast and there were plenty of Silvereyes too!.
This would indicate that they have arrived here in good numbers,
ofcourse some years the YFHE go inland as well!
