Mike Carter and I went down to Peterborough to see the Laughing Gull

We did not get there until about 12.40 and left at about 4.15 pm

We did not see it

Other people present had been there since 9ish and did not see it. They
also looked along the coast both ways

We did see at least 4 Aussie crakes and 2 Lewin's Rails but this wasn't
enough really

Maybe someone else will be luckier or will see it elsewhere on the Vic coast
