Hello birders

Regarding sightings of Spotted Bowerbirds, in 1996 we had a small influx of
birds around the Jensen, Mt. Low area just north of Townsville.

Arthur Hill reported c6 Spotted Bowerbirds at his home at Mt. Low
between June and September 1996.

Pat and John Mant reported Spotted Bowerbirds in their garden at Jensen
between 9/8/96 and 30/10/96 I also saw birds at this address.

I had one bird in our garden at Kelso west of Townsville for a few days in
late 1996.

Regards

Ian Clayton

To a man ornithologists are tall, slender, and bearded, so
that they can stand motionless for hours, imitating kindly
trees, as they watch for birds.
