birding-aus
For the last few weeks, birding-aus has only been accepting messages from
addresses subscribed to the list. This has stopped some of the junk mail,
but has posed bigger problems for people who have different 'to' and
'from' addresses. Also, it prevents non-subscribers from sending us
worthwhile information, as some people read birding-aus via the WWW at
Andrew Taylor's UNSW archive or at Birding on the Web.
SO, I am thinking about opening up messages to all senders. It will still
be possible to block specific addresses (or at least domains) should that
become necessary.
If anyone has strong objections to this, please let me know soon (mail to
me rather than the list, please) - say, in the next week.
