RE: Copy of: Thanks

Hi Aus birders,
Eureka - I have finally got back onto Birding Aus. This has
taken two and a half weeks, umpteen letters to aus-birders, three letters
to Russell and over twenty different ways of writing <subscribe
birding-aus. I have also changed servers and had 2 friends subscribe with
different servers - they got on immediately!!! All of this when I didn't
even unsubscribe - I just stopped getting mail. Anyway a BIG THANK YOU to
all of you who helped in one way or another to get it all sorted out.
Anyway, 4 of us will be landing from England in Melbourne
on 24th Feb. and over the next three weeks will be visiting Toolangi,
Phillip Island, Chiltern, Barren Grounds, Wollongong - for the pelagic -
have started taking the Kwells already!!, Royal National Park, Sydney,
Coffs Harbour via North Epping, Dorrigo, Gloucester &Barrington Tops,
Maroubra(Sydney), Glenbrook & Windsor, Glen Davis, Lake Cargelligo/Round
Hill, Deniliquin (Phil Maher) , Hattah Kulkyne, Wyperfield and back to
Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road. Many aus-birders have been very helpful
over the last few months in generously offering information but as I have
been out of contact for the last few weeks I would appreciate information
on any of these sites that has been posted recently. The Regent Honeyeater
mail was the first to arrive yesterday.
If anyone has had recent sightings of the following & could
let me know privately - it would be much appreciated:-
Sooty Owl, Powerful Owl, Tawny Frogmouth (apart from the
one David mentioned yesterday) & Rufous Scrub-bird.
                                                                Many
thanks,
                                                                Chris
