The Harrington area is a great birding location.  I know it extremely well.

I must, however, express doubt about Eastern Bristlebird in the area (at
least in recent years as suggested).  Bush Thick-knee would also be very
interesting although not out of the question as a couple of pair hang on in
coastal areas to the south.  Am not surprised by Beach Thick-knees breeding
at Manning Point (other side of river entrance).  The breeding range of
these birds is gradually spreading south.
