Eclectus Parrots

I have just been reading the old Cayley book Australian Birds in Field and
Aviary and was quite surprised to read of a report stating that the range
of the Eclectus Parrot had been vastly extended in 1956 when C.N. Austin
"discovered" the birds at Lake Eacham on the Atherton Tableland.
The event was reported in The Emu Vol 56, 1956 pp80-81 under "Range
extension of 3 bird species"
Does anyone have a copy of this article and any follow-up articles refuting
this claim?
I would be interested to read the report if anyone has it - either via the
e-mail or by fax on 07-40362394.
Thanks.
