the occurance of Southern Emu-wren in Jilpanger is 'new' info, and the
co-occurance of Superb, Purple-backed and Southern Emu-wren there is
probably unique in Victoria However, SEW do occur well into the Murray
Mallee of SA, and may well overlap with VFW and SFW's there. Can any of our
SA members comment.

During the Fisheries and Wildlife Service survey of the Grampians-Edenhope
area in 1974 and 1975, SEW was not recorded north of about Harrow [ie not
in the Edenhope Area of Emison et al. Mem Nat Mus Vict 39], as a glance at
the Atlas of Victorian Birds will show you. They were however recorded a
little further south and west in the Poolaijelo area.
