AOL has recently started here. Compuserve have been here for many
years. Both offer global roaming as do other large Internet services
like ibm.net . You should be able to install the software before you
leave, then use it anywhere just be telling it a phone number to dial.
If you are already a customer of one of these services, I'm sure they
have information on their global roaming services.
Another option would be to leave the laptop at home and use Internet
cafes and public libraries for your Internet access. You could use a
service like Hotmail or Yahoo mail for e-mail.
