Cape Barren Geese

On a recent birding watching trip south of Murray Bridge SA I counted 64 Cape Barren Geese in several loose flocks. They were seen at the locality known as Mulgundawa between Langhorne Creek and Wellington. This is on the northern shore of Lake Alexandrina.

Straw Necked Ibis 7 
Australian White Ibis 3 
Swamp Harrier 2 
White Fronted Chat 8 
Masked Lapwing 5 
Pelican 30 
Caspian Tern 1 
Whiskered Tern 1 
Skylark 15 
 
Species recorded 25
Total birds counted 256
