Reminds me of my stay at Heron Island Qld some years ago when
White-capped Noddy nesting season was in full swing. (Hats had to be
worn 24 hrs a day).  Visiting tourist agreed it was a lovely place "if
only they'd do something to get rid of these damn birds"!  What he
thought when a few nights later the Shearwaters started to blunder into
ablutions blocks or moan under the cabins I don't like to think.
