I have one record above the Argyle Diamond Mine in the NE Kimberley of WA of
an adult and a juvenile. The mine is about 30km west of the southern end of
Lake Argyle where they are occasionally seen, and about 100km (as the bird
flies) from Kununurra where there is a pair resident on the Lake Kununurra
diversion dam. Kununurra is about 60km or so from the coast. Argyle is over
120km from the coast at Wyndham.
There was a recent report of a Brahminy Kite on the coast at Perth. Their
normal southern extent in WA is usually about Carnarvon.
