of the quotes I vaguely remember was that CSIRO expected the drop in rabbit
population in SA to result in an 80% reduction in Wedge-tailed Eagle
breeding over the next couple of years. WHile this would seem a large
number, the CSIRO didn't give the impression that this was particularly bad
for the eagles. There has also been a marked increase in native flora and
fauna species as the area recovered from the damage done by rabbits.
