Before I moved up to Melbourne to live, I had an excellent raptor site
on my doorstep in Geelong. The Fyansford Common is a great spot,
probably about 20 hectares of riverbank and open grassy flats, tucked
into the suburban edge of Geelong, and whilst I've never had 8 species
in one day (things take a bit longer outside the tropics), the quality
over time is high. The most in one birding session was 7 raptor species
(I think).

Wedge-tailed Eagle
Little Eagle
Whistling Kite
Swamp Harrier
Spotted Harrier
Peregrine Falcon
Brown Falcon
Australian Hobby
Nankeen Kestrel
Black-shouldered Kite
Grey (White) Goshawk
Brown Goshawk
Collared Sparrowhawk
Barn Owl
Southern Boobook
