>Dear Niels,

Regarding keeping slides in queensland

I keep my slides in plastic slide sheets in ring binders in old metal
Malleys Eskies. The eskies are plastic-lined and have clamp-down lids on
rubber seals. A dry pak and a camphor block seem to keep mould and insects
at bay. I have used this system since 1988, in Hobart, Townsville (6 years)
Sydney and Melbourne. I have had no mould or damage at all. The eskies cost
about ten bucks each at garage sales, but are hard to find. Slides that
are'nt sorted I keep in their boxes in a big, air-tight tupperware box,
also with dry paks.

PS don't use old metal eskies for food unless you want your food at room
