I noted a comment about a Grey Falcon in Canberra in the recent thread on Grey Falcons. I would be very careful about accepting any such records. I remember long ago during the RAOU ATlas Project, we had a record of a Grey Falcon not far west of Canberra. We checked it out, and it turned out to be a grey-phase Australian Kestrel. I saw my life Grey Falcon in the far northeast of South Australia. All that glitters is not gold nor is every grey raptor a Grey Falcon! John Penhallurick Associate Professor John M.
