On 1st January 1998 Pat Bingham (past-President of B.O.C.A.) sighted a
Regent Honeyeater in a grove of wattles along the Main Yarra Trail,
Heidelberg (Melways Map Ref.32, J3).

Today 5th January at 1:10 PM Celia Browne and myself confirmed this
sighting. The Regent Honeyeater was feeding in wattles under the
transmission line only 2 metres above ground level and was observed for
20 minutes. (For Ian Temby's information opposite a vandalised Shared
Footway sign).
