Lorne in a recent post asked about field guides to south america. I have
just discovered that The Scholars Bookshop (New Jersey, USA; Fax: 1 609-395
0755) have on sale Hilty & Brown's "A Guide to the Birds of Columbia" for
$34.95 US. It will cost something for postage and handling, and it will
take a good while to reach Australasia, but that is still a lot less than
the list price.
