And all of them then go on to deposit Mulberry seeds, complete with a
dose of fertiliser in the bush.

Before planting anything "for the birds" it is important to know whether
it will result in a degredation of bushland.  Do you have any data on
how readily Mulberries grow from seed or observations of Mulberries in
bushland ?
