I've deleted Ian's wonderfully written message, so you'll have to check
the archive or ask someone like me to send you a copy.

BUT ... his comments sparked an idea (not that we're short of traffic on
this list anymore...) It certainly would be interesting to find out some
of the more common species missing from the lists of those endowed with
long lists.  So if you're up there in 500s or 600s and feel the need to
confess what you HAVEN'T seen, maybe someone here will point you in the
right direction - or at least we'll all feel smug at your expense -nicely,
of course!
