This being my last message for the time being; i would like to thank everyone 
for their help with my southern birding.  My Aussie list now stands at a modest 
518, so I'm catching Andy, but the Kimberley trip should push him through th 

Marleen Acton rang to tell me she'd seen the spotted quail thrush north of 
Bateman Bay (rats! I've been after that one for months and still not found it).

On the subject of dipping out: does anyone know what pelagics I missed out on 
on the Wollongong trip last Sunday?  I'd like to know the worst before I
