On Sunday morning last I spent about 30 minutes seawatching from the
base of the Point Lonsdale lighthouse, Port Phillip Heads, Victoria.
The weather & conditions: cool, squally showers, moderate swell, slight
SW breeze, relatively small seas to the west, but very rough in The Rip
and to the east.

Birds:

Shy Albatross (a few dozen, mostly in The Rip, many mollymawks on
horizon too far away to ID); Black-browed Albatross (a few dozen in The
Rip); Yellow-nosed Albatross (4-5); Great Skua (1); White-fronted Tern
(5-10); Crested Tern, Caspian Tern (2); Silver Gull, Pacific Gull,
Black-faced Cormorant, Pied Cormorant, Australasian Gannet (abundant);
Singing Honeyeater, New Holland Honeyeater, Australian Magpie.

Mammals:

Australian Fur-seal (1), Bottle-nosed Dolphin (1).
