This is a notice correcting my previous entry re Portland pelagic 8 June
1997, sent out eight days ago. In the light of photographs taken by Mike
Carter, the claimed juvenile Grey-headed Albatross was in fact an unusually
dark-headed juv. Black-browed Alb., on the basis of no black skin at the
base of the culminicorn on the bird. Mike advises therefore, that our
original identification made on the boat should stand.

Apologies to anyone who ticked it off as Grey-headed in the meantime.

Peter Lansley. (Yes, I've signed it this time!)
