Greetings All: >From the 7th April to the 13th April, the BOPPAS travelled to Mundubbera via Gympie, staying one night in Mundubbera, then on to Cania Gorge for three nights, and then to Woodgate on the coast for two nights.Birding records started at Gympie and finished at Gympie. A total of 162 species were recorded.The most exciting recordings were Black Bittern(near Cania);Letter-winged Kite near Kalpower;Blue-winged Kookaburra (Cania and Kalpower);Kore (Australian) Bustard (Cania);Yellow-throated Miner (Kalpower);Brown-headed Honeyeater (Cania);Dusky Honeyeater (Woodgate);Rose Robin (Cania);Rufous Fantail (Cania);Plum-headed Finch (Mundubbera and Kalpower).
