The
Discovery of Sound in the Sea (DOSITS) Team is pleased to kick off the latter half of its 2022 webinar series this month! The third webinar in this 4-part series on underwater sound
will take place at
12pm ET on
Wednesday, September 14, 2022. During this
free, 60-minute webinar, Dr. Jill Lewandowski, Environmental Assessment Division Chief for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM),
and other BOEM personnel, will provide a regulatory and recommendation overview with regards to
underwater sound and offshore wind development activities. The webinar will include a presentation followed by a period of facilitated discussion.
An outline for the presentation, with associated DOSITS links, will be soon linked on the
2022 DOSITS Webinar page, and a new DOSITS content page on
Ocean
Sound Policies will also be available for review in advance of the webinar.
This event is open to all interested individuals, however,
