The Discovery of Sound in the Sea (DOSITS) Team is pleased to kick off the latter half of its 2022 webinar series this month! The third webinar in this 4-part series on underwater sound will take place at 12pm ET on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.  During this free, 60-minute webinar, Dr. Jill Lewandowski, Environmental Assessment Division Chief for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), and other BOEM personnel, will provide a regulatory and recommendation overview with regards to underwater sound and offshore wind development activities. The webinar will include a presentation followed by a period of facilitated discussion. An outline for the presentation, with associated DOSITS links, will be soon linked on the 2022 DOSITS Webinar page, and a new DOSITS content page on Ocean Sound Policies will also be available for review in advance of the webinar.

This event is open to all interested individuals, however, registration is required. For a registration link and other details, please visit the 2022 Webinar Series page on the DOSITS website:  Registered participants are encouraged to review the presentation outline and associated DOSITS resources in advance of the webinar.

All DOSITS webinars are hosted via Zoom; a YouTube link will also be made available to registered participants. All webinars will be recorded and the webinar video will be posted to the DOSITS website about 1-2 weeks following the live event.  All DOSITS Webinar archives can be accessed through the DOSITS Webinar page:
