A number of people have asked for more time to prepare abstracts for the Fifth International Workshop on Detection, Classification, Localization, and Density Estimation of Marine Mammals using Passive Acoustics this August 22-25. Rather than making exceptions for a few people, we have decided to extend the deadline for everyone to the end of the month. The new deadline for abstract submission is April 29. As before, please send abstracts to . Also, there is some confusion about multiple submissions. It's fine for one person be lead author of more than one presentation. Further information about the workshop is available at http://www.bioacoustics.us/dcl.html . Dave Mellinger |
