Hello,

I am considering buying recording equipment to use together with a
hydrophone. My initial plan is to use it to record fish sounds, but I will
probably end up using it to record whale and dolphin sounds as well. I have
used dat-recorders in the past, but I am not up to date concerning modern
models! I would therefore really appreciate if someone can help me out. Are
dat-recorders still the best equipment to buy/use (and if so which models
are good?), or can anyone suggest something else (maybe
minidisk-recorders?)?

Many thanks already in advance.
Kind regards,
Rudy
