20th International Bioacoustic Congress

The next International BioAcoustic Congress (IBAC) will be in Piran, Slovenia, 15th to 19th September 2005.

There will be plenty of interesting talks on animal acoustic communication.

Invited speakers:
Prof. Axel Michelsen (Do dancing honeybees communicate their message by means of jet air flows ?)
Prof. Gianni Pavan (The impact of noise on marine mammals)
Richard Ranft (New developments in recording equipment for bioacoustics)
Andrej Cokl (Vibrational communication in stink bugs: a case of tuning between insects and plants) Jacques Vieilliard (Acoustic communication strategies in Brazilian hummingbirds (Aves, Trochilidae))
