Behavioural Ecology - Postdoc position in animal communication
A position is available for a postdoctoral scientist with experience
in research in animal communication and acoustic analysis to work with
Prof. Marta Manser (University of Zurich) and Prof. Tim Clutton-Brock
(University of Cambridge) on aspects of parent-offspring communication
in meerkats. The post will involve a combination of quantitative
analysis of call structure and field experiments with habituated
animals in the South African Kalahari (Kalahari Meerkat Project).
Funding is available for 18 months, although this could be extended.
