Dear Bioacousticians, I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me. I am intereted in directional microphones as a way of picking up seal vocalisation down in Antarctica. Basically I would like to tune in to particular sounds from a distance and though that may be possible with a directional microphone. I could then tape the sound onto a DAT recorder. Could anyone suggest a good system. Thankyou Tamara http://messenger.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
