Hi Geoffrey,

It takes some getting used to I have to admit. But Australian Tern and Gull-billed Tern is fine with me. But agreed I would have preferred

Australian Gull-billed Tern and Common Gull-billed Tern

I would be very interested to hear what people think of the different English names for the one species that are now appearing: sometimes ‘Australian Gull-billed Tern’, sometimes ‘Australian Tern’.
