Greetings, we were heading over to Thursday Is (TI) on Sat. 13 September at
0910. We all spotted this small bird floating on the surface about 300m off
shore from Hospital Point. The bird was not distressed and allowed us to
approach in the dinghy, flying once when we got too close. Appreciate any
assistance in getting a positive ID before submitting to Birdata. It is
definitely a new bird for me and I am leaning towards White-faced Storm Petrel
Thanks Jon and Laura Wren photos to follow.
