Scope purchase

Hi everyone…👋🏻
I’m ready to purchase a scope to see those shorebirds better as we’re moving 
towards Cairns direction soon (& would love one for when they arrive again at 
end of year (is Nordmanns still around at esplanade)?
I need to know peoples opinions on what’s the most expensive Scope, to mid 
range expensive/affordable and brands…and anything else I might need to know 
about purchasing a scope
