I don’t know about currawongs using the same nest each season but my local pair
of magpies stolen the recently constructed nest of the resident pair of
Torresian crows and now have two chicks in it. The crows had to build another
nest three trees away.
Don’t know if they now have chicks but the crows are being attacked by all the
other locals such as noisy friar birds, magpies, pee wees and red wattlebirds.
Very busy and noisy here right now.
