For Mike Tarburton:

On Saturday, 27 February, shortly after 2pm, at the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens, approximately 20 White-throated Needletails were observed high above Trig Track (Google Maps has it marked as Tea Tree Track), roughly halfway between Possum Gully Track (to the north-west) and Lake Track 1 (to the south-east).  They were probably feeding as they were not heading in any definite direction but flying high in the air around the area.

Regards,

Tania
