Hi Chris, 

Agreed, access to the Marshes is an ongoing challenge.  It is a key reason I'm 
so supportive of video products like this one.

The good news is the new owners of 'Willie' have indicated they are considering 
re-opening the tourist accommodation there.  

There is also a new public access area in development in the north west of the 
Marshes. 'Burrima' includes a substantial new boardwalk constructed through 
River Red Gum forest to a tower overlooking part of the Northern Marshes 
reedbed.

Very nice video Tim. 
But for most of us it is frustrating that we only have glimpses over private 
land fences or over National Parks ‘No Entry’ signs. 
Now that Willie Retreat is not operating it is even a less attractive birding 
destination.
