Golden bowerbird? Guess you mean Regent. ???
Remarkable Rod. Presumably due to Global Warming . A great bird. We have a weekender at Avoca Beach, Brahminy Kites would be a welcome addition to the local Sea Eagles, Saw an Osprey once some years ago. Fortunately there is still plenty of bush around the Central Coast and and South along Brisbane Water,, with lots of birds including Hearh spp, , and the inexorable spread of Homo sap South of here seems to be upwards rather than out wards , so far.
!No Mynahs at all since blocking off tinder the eaves.we have a family of Grey Butcherbitds but no Pied. Fig birds in an ornamental fig, they seem to be permanently resident in the large Port Jackson figs in the lakeside park next to th shopping centre. The Dollarbirds is back, along with Channelbills and Koels, both chased away by Noisy miners. A single male Golden Bowerbird flying South, a resident family of Satins. Brush Turkeys, even digging I up pot plants. White Cockies not welcome since chewing through two metres of Western Red Cedar cladding the house. Expensive. Plenty of parrots including a most engaging male King Parrot hopping around , chortling, flying in circles around a stoic female.
Chestnut Teal behind the island on the Lake,
Only small landbirds are Blue Wrens in the low scrub behind the beach, apart from occasional Barn Swallows. No Swufts to date .
Birds and bird calls everywhere. A wonderful birding Spring.
Cheers

Pied Butcherbirds are found occasionally down to the Victorian.NSW border on the coast sparsely but of course also over the top third of inland Victoria. Talking about birds extending their distribution Brahminy Kites are now found along the NSW coast to The Entrance by
Richard Gatenby whom I have forwarded this reply to has remarkable images taken along the coast south of here.
Best regards
