Date: Friday, May 1, 2020
Location: In our St Peters jungle/garden
Eastern Spinebill (Acanthorhynchus tenuirostris) (1) The spinebill has been in
and out of our garden since March 24th, not quite every day but almost. I have
seen it only 3 times, but it calls from high up in the very leafy gum, or from
a dense bush. Last year it hung around for 3 months from April to July, but for
the only other 2 years when it has appeared it has been a quick in and out on a
single day.
