Martin and all,

I was in the Capertee Valley last week and the western edge of the fire was burning on the cliffs around Glen Davis and in the gorge downstream. As far as I can tell, the only known Regent Honeyeater site which may have been burnt is around the Coorongooba campground (site 8 in the bird route leaflet) and any parts of the gorge downstream, i.e. to the east, that they might occasionally use. The rest of the valley is unaffected at this stage.

I can’t advise re sites near the Putty Road and further east.

Cheers,

Carol

Is this impacting Regent Honeyeater areas yet?
